Do you ever doubt yourself?
Assuming you're human then of course you do!
It's what happens NEXT that counts.
Here's an example:
Out walking in the frozen tundra that is Rochdale ( by the way is it me, or has it been unreasonably cold recently?), anyway...
...out walking I decided to change my 5-day training from paid to free.
Why?
Because I get to help more people, and more people get to experience the delight that is my training. Hey who knows, some of the participants may want to stick around a little longer?
Plus it puts more value out there in the world, and I'm a firm believer that your income is directly linked to how much value you give.
So I made the decision and declared it to the world.
Then the negative gremlins in my head (and some well-meaning friends), started chiming in with those little doubt-bombs.
"There's already loads of free challenges."
"I'd never join a free challenge"
"people think free training is just a trick to sell them on something"
The cure for the self-doubt is to:
1) acknowledge the thought
2) ask yourself if anything has actually changed, i.e. new information come to light that may prevent the thing?
3) If no, then realise it's just your self-protection mechanism doing its job
4) remember that moment where you decided WHY you were going to do the thing
5) do the thing and look for the lesson - win or lose, there WILL be a lesson (which makes it a win in my book).
Now I know there are loads of 5 and 7-day challenges out there, but they're not MY challenges.
The internet is FULL of free training, but it's not MY training, where I explain in my unique(!) way.
And the reality is, you never know unless you try.
That's how we learn and make progress.
And unless you try, you can't learn.
And learning never ends.
So there we go.
Oh, and if you're curious about my free 5-day challenge, head on over to https://www.visibility.academy/sos5 and grab a spot before we get started 😁
